Contract Motion Graphic Designer

Job Description:

Metre seeks an experienced Motion Graphic Designer to join the creative team on a contract basis to execute motion graphics and/or animation for video projects. This role requires a motion designer with experience and technical knowledge who can hit the ground running.

The Role:

• Develop and design motion graphics for digital, social, and broadcast.
• Work within the requirements of our creative process.
• Ensure efficient, high-quality, and timely production of designs and all work.
• Hybrid position of in-office and remote.
• Hours and contract duration negotiable.

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• A degree in Motion Graphic Design or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in graphic design/motion design. Agency or studio experience preferred.
• Excellent motion graphic skills paired with a strong design aesthetic.
• Software skills: After Effects and Premiere Pro required.
• Experience in graphic design; using Illustrator and Photoshop is a plus.
• Execute design work in a quick and efficient manner with great attention to detail.
• A portfolio and/or reel of professional work for review.
