Digital Strategist

Job Description

Metre seeks an experienced Digital Strategist to join the team. The Digital Strategist will be experienced in providing measurable results to clients through digital marketing. This position will be responsible for developing campaigns, monitoring online communities, uncovering insights, and analyzing metrics. They will be responsible for maintaining a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and coming to the table with fresh ideas on how to leverage digital and social media to achieve valued outcomes. This position will play an active role as a digital expert to help inform the agency and develop company-wide perspectives on trends and the use of emerging digital media in the marketplace. This is a full-time position in either our Minneapolis or La Crosse, Wisconsin office.

The Role

  • Gain in-depth understanding of clients’ marketing objectives and target audiences
  • Assist creative team in the development of strategies that drive clients’ businesses
  • Analyze trends/results to determine the most effective digital implications and solutions
  • Own digital marketing best practices and standards within organization
  • Collaborate with cross-functional agency project teams to motivate, create and implement short and long-term online marketing strategies
  • Manage the implementation and optimization of digital, display, email, paid social, and influencer marketing campaigns
  • Create performance reports for clients
  • Correspond and meet with clients and members of client teams to provide a consistent level of service that exceeds expectations

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • 3+ years of digital/interactive experience, agency experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, mass communication, or similar field
  • Experience with Google AdWords, Google Analytics, Facebook Ad Manager, and other ad buying platforms
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of paid search, display, and video campaigns including creative guidelines, targeting, and trafficking principles
  • Background or interest in measurement and optimization of marketing ROI
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple timelines, clients, and projects
  • Demonstrated critical thinking, analytical skills, and high level of attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively and efficiently
  • Professional demeanor and ability to build and maintain supportive relationships
  • Software skills: familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite a plus
