Today’s consumers want to connect to the story and heart of the brands they purchase. A company steeped in heritage with a history of innovation that utilizes American-made craftsmanship, Redfeather Snowshoes has a compelling story that was waiting to be told.
In a time when convenience is often prioritized over quality, cutting through the noise with a product focused on craftsmanship is not an easy task. Prior to working with Metre, Redfeather Snowshoes was a brand that focused heavily on product shots and patriotic emblems. While this can communicate the quality of the products, it doesn’t tell the story in a way that engages an audience.
In order to resonate deeply with the target audience, Redfeather would need to lean into the concept of heritage and use this to carve out a unique place for the brand in line with other iconic American brands.
Metre examined every aspect of the brand’s identity and created a story of craftsmanship through the use of photography, videography, apparel and web design. All components were brought together through brand themes including a streamlined and updated logo, a custom seal, and a unified color palette.
